theindex.la is home to the studio of S. Leimbach and Sarah Lewis.
Index started as a library of contemporary photographers and filmmakers presented as an offering to our community. Today it acts as a digital archive of visual culture created between 2016 and 2021.
In 2018, we expanded into the physical realm, taking the form of a studio that provides support for our peers through creative production, visual direction, and exhibit curation.
